Dr. Jundt is from the beautiful Texas Hill Country, but has lived in various places all over Texas. He enjoys hiking the many trails of central Texas with his wife and two children, often while also visiting friends and family. Research interests include facial trauma, cost containment in healthcare, and the role of personality in decision making. In addition to his clinical and research endeavors, he serves as a mentor to engineering students at Rice University in the Oshmann Engineering Design Kitchen working to develop novel devices in anesthesiology. He also serves as a mentor and adviser to engineering students at the University of Texas at Austin Department of Biomedical Engineering working to develop novel epithelial tumor identification systems.
